Rev. & Jan House, Senior Pastor
Roger (Bro. Ro.) and Jan just celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. Pastor has been
at ABC for over 11 years. Jan has been teaching Business, Management, Business Law, and
Keyboarding at the Clinton Technology School in Clinton for the last 8 years.
Joel is 24 and a December Graduate from the University of Missouri at Rolla where he
graduated with honors with a degree in Computer Engineering. He is
quickly approaching his one year anniversary with GE "General Electric" and works in their Global Positioning
Department in Grain Valley. He is a member
of the Theta Xi fraternity. While in High School he played soccer, golf and
tennis for Clinton High School. In Soccer, Joel was elected to First Team All
District for Forwards. He also shot the first Hole In One in the 35 year history
of Clinton High School Golf. In Tennis he received 1st at Conference and was 1st
Team All Conference, the first to earn such recognition in 7
years.
Deanna (Dee) is now 20. She played varsity Soccer and Volleyball, and was
elected Captain for both squads. Dee was our Children's Church Director
for more than 6 years. Dee iis pursuing an education degree in History/Social Studies
at the University of Central Missouri and is a
member of the Honors College. She "Ref's" boys and girls high school
soccer for MSHSSA works in a
computer lab on campus and waitresses at a Warrensburg restuarant, Oh, and she goes to
college.
Having both Roger's mother living with us and
Jan's parents only an hour away has given our children a wonderful opportunity
to know them. That truly is a blessing for both our families.
